All participants in the Iron Horse Express 2013 PCR Convention must be members in good standing of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA). Membership information is available at the NMRA website. A 6-month Rail Pass is available to encourage participation and have a 'look-see' without a long-term commitment. Both Full and Rail Pass memberships may be requested and paid for on the registration forms.

Full-Fare registration is $89.00, Non-Rail or Spouse registration is $69.00, and Youth (12-18 years or student) registration is $50.00. The Banquet is included with these registrations.

"Non-Rail or Spouse" Fare

The "Non-Rail or Spouse" fare of $69.00 also applies to female or male spouses who are model railroaders.

Special "First Timer" Fare

The special "First Timer" fare of $69.00 is available for PCR members that have not registered for the past 5 conventions.

What's Included?

All fares include clinics, Banquet, layout tours and operating sessions. Day Fares do not include the Banquet. The Annual PCR Members Breakfast is also not included and is an extra-fare activity for all registrations, $5.00.

Registering for the convention is a cinch. Just follow a few easy steps and you'll be registered before you know it!

Step 1 - Fill out the registration form, either the printed version or the Online Registration Form

Step 2 - Mail Printed Registration Form or submit Online Registration Form

Next, write a check (in US funds, please) for the Total amount on your printed Registration Form, made payable to "PCR Convention 2013". Send your printed Registration Form and payment to:

OR - After completing the Online Registration Form:

  • Press the "Submit" button to send your registration information to the Iron Horse Express 2013 Registrar via e-mail. You will receive an automated response in your Inbox that will show what you entered. If it does not appear in a few minutes, check your "Junk" or "Spam" folders for an e-mail from "IronHorseExpress2013@pcrnmra.org".
  • You will then be taken to the Iron Horse Express 2013 "Ticket Office" page to pay for your registration(s) and any extra-fare items.
  • Click the "Add to Cart" buttons to add items to your shopping cart. When complete, click on the "View Cart" button to proceed to PayPal's secure website.

Step 3 - Confirmation

A registration invoice showing your registration information will be mailed to you. If you registered online, you will also receive an e-mailed receipt from PayPal and copy of what was sent to the Registrar.

Step 4 - Show up

And finally! The moment we've been waiting for all year - the Convention!

When you arrive at the convention hotel, check in at the Registration Desk and pickup your personalized Iron Horse Express 2013 registration package. Your package will include all the information you will need regarding Iron Horse Express 2013, including any extra-fare tickets, and coupons redeemable for pre-paid convention merchandise.
