All participants in the Coast Rails 2014 PCR Convention, now co-hosted by the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum, must be members in good standing of either the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) or the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum (SLORRM).
NMRA membership information is available at the NMRA website. A 6-month Rail Pass is available to encourage participation and have a 'look-see' without a long-term commitment. Also available are full NMRA memberships without the NMRA magazine and student memberships that include NMRA magazine. All levels of NMRA memberships may be requested and paid for on the registration forms.
San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum (SLORRM) membership information is available at the SLORRM website. Both Individual and Family SLORRM memberships may be purchased when registering for the convention or afterwards at the "Company Store" page.
Convention registration is required in addition to membership in either the NMRA or the SLORRM. (You just KNOW somebody will ask!)
"Early Bird" Special
The Early Bird rate expired at midnight Friday, 01/31/14, and is no longer available.
"Non-Rail or Spouse" Fare
The "Non-Rail or Spouse" fare of $69.00 also applies to female or male spouses who are model railroaders.
Special "First Timer" Fare
The special "First Timer" fare of $69.00 is available for PCR members that have not registered for the past 5 conventions.
Day Fare
The Day fare of $35.00 is good for one day of convention attendance and includes clinics (except MWTM clinics), layout tours, and contests. The Awards Banquet and Modeling With The Masters clinics are not included, but may be purchased as extra-fare items.

All fares, except Day Fares, include convention registration and the Awards Banquet. One-day fares, $35.00 per day, do not include the Banquet.

Registering for the convention is a cinch. Just follow a few easy steps and you'll be registered before you know it!
Step 1 - Fill out the registration form, either the printed version or the Online Registration Form

) that may be printed and filled in by hand, then mailed in, can be found at:

Step 2 - Mail Printed Registration Form or submit Online Registration Form
Next, write a check (in US funds, please) for the Total amount on your printed Registration Form, made payable to "Coast Rails 2014". Mail your printed Registration Form and payment to:

OR - After completing the Online Registration Form:
- Press the "Submit to Registrar" button to send your registration information to the Coast Rails 2014 Registrar via e-mail. You will receive an automated response in your Inbox that will show what you entered. If it does not appear in a few minutes, check your "Junk" or "Spam" folders for an e-mail from "CoastRails2014@pcrnmra.org".
- You will then be taken to the Coast Rails 2014 "Ticket Office" page to pay for your registration(s) and any extra-fare items.
- Click the "Add to Cart" buttons to add items to your shopping cart. When complete, click on the "View Cart" button to proceed to PayPal's secure website, where you may pay with credit card, debit card, or PayPal. You do not need to have your own PayPal account to use this payment method.
Step 3 - Confirmation
A registration invoice showing your registration information will be mailed to you. If you registered online, you will also receive an e-mailed receipt from PayPal and copy of what was sent to the Registrar.
Step 4 - Show up
And finally! The moment we've been waiting for all year - the Convention!
When you arrive at the convention hotel, check in at the Registration Desk and pickup your personalized Coast Rails 2014 registration package. Your package will include all the information you will need regarding Coast Rails 2014, including any extra-fare tickets, and coupons redeemable for pre-paid convention merchandise.
