  • Chaffee Zoo - Most popular attraction in Fresno with Tropical Rainforest Exhibit, Sting Ray City, Orangutan and Tiger Exhibit, Small Wonders Animal Encounters, Winged Wonders Bird Show, and more. JUST ANNOUNCED! Sharks will be included in the 2008 Sting Ray City exhibit, beginning in April.
  • Fig Garden Golf Course - A truly fine place to play golf
  • Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center - Includes Selland Arena, Saroyan Theatre, Valdez Hall, Exhibit Hall and Conference Center, venues for professional arena football, plays, concerts, Fresno Philharmonic, musicals.

  • Shinzen Japanese Garden - The Shinzen Japanese Garden is located within Fresno's Woodward Region Park. The entrance to the park is located on Audubon Drive, just off of Friant Road. Pack a lunch and enjoy your day at the park.
  • The Tower District - Full of restaurants, shops, and local hotspots, the Tower District is a great place to check out. The mind and spirit of William Saroyan, the Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, are still very much alive in his boyhood home.
  • Woodward Park - 300 acre park with bird sanctuary, Japanese garden, dog park, playgrounds, a lake, 3 ponds, picnic areas and 5 miles of trails
